All - New here, but have owned a Bersa 383 DA since '92 when I bought it from a buddy for $45 with one magazine. Well, I haven't shot it recently and when I went to shoot it, it began to not fire properly, though I could manually cock the hammer, but the trigger would not trip it. Anyway, probably should of oiled it first, so I disassembled it and thought maybe it was the trigger spring, and yes the trigger is also disassembled but the trigger spring does not seem to be broken. Now here is where I admit I am a moron, because I failed to note how the trigger spring/slide stop went back into place. Can anyone offer any help on how to reassemble? Or is there anyone in MN that knows more than me about the reassembly process? I really want to get it back together as I bought two more magazines that cost me more than I originally paid for the pistol. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, David H

Welcome to Bersa Chat David H. Sorry to hear of your trouble & I know the feeling. Pollyb is our resident expert on Bersa .380s & he should be along to help, or you might send him a PM.

As for lubrication, generally it only requires a standard field strip & that's much easier to do.
