The flashlight off to the side should make your fiberoptic sights easy to see.

Very cool. :thumbs up: Looks like you have added some features. I have the standard 500 .410 I picked up at an auction last year. Great little shotgun.

They have some real BA self defense ammo for the .410. I have been accumulating some 3" PDX1, buckshot, and 3" Beneke slugs which are designed for full choke shotguns.

The 410 shotgun has come along way me personally I like the 2 1/2 pdx1 and as for 3" brenneke slugs best 410 slug on the market at 25 yards the brenneke slugs penetrated a 1998 2500 van boor

What did that poor can ever do to you. All it ever wanted was a chance to store some ammo for a while. :)

All jokes aside the lock was messed up and the top would not close sometimes and when it did you would need something short of a pry bar to get it back open again

I have a .410 for my wife's side of the bed for home defense. Little recoil and she isn't afraid to pull the trigger unlike my 12 gauge. I have always said, shoot what you have, can afford, or feel comfortable. I wouldn't want anyone shooting at me with one that is for sure!

Agreed I to do not want to be on the business end of any shotgun let alone a 410

We have a Mossberg 500 12 gauge and now wish I had looked at a 410. You have a nice looking weapon there and it will work out as a very effective home defense firearm.

Many, many Thanks for posting your great video, kingd3001!!!

For years on this forum I was known as the "Water Jug Slayer". I appreciate you taking this to the next level as the "Can Killer"!

I can now sleep well at night, bless you :)

Those some 300+ water jugs I destroyed caused me many of sleepless nights due to my actions.

Please post more with shooting metal!

Guess I should have video'd all the transmission pans, flywheels and other misc. steel I shot before hauling the last load off. Quitr amazing that soft lead goes right through.

Yes sir I do wish I had video'd the shootup. Also found some kind of copper canister that I shot up real good. I will break out the cameras for the next destruction derby I do. It is quite amazing how well lead really does without copper shells.

We have a 12 gauge Mossberg 500 with a pistol grip. And we always have our handguns nearby......we feel reasonably secure and able to protect ourselves if the need should arise.

Mossberg 500 with 20 inch accuchoke barrel, fiber optic ghost ring sights (its also my slug and turkey gun), and Blackhawk Compstock recoil reduction stock (helps save my old arthritic shoulders). Extra ammunition if needed is carried in a bandoleer stored with the gun.

That 410 is a good choice for HD. I use a Maverick88 12 gauge. But if I ever have to use it there will be a mess to clean up.

I use a short barrel AR-15 with a collapsible stock 30 rounds of HP varmint load(don't remember the brand) . shorter and faster than a shot gun. More ammo before reloading. that 223 load reduces over penetration unlike 00 buck It sleeps right next to me under a pillow ready to rock and roll.

My shot guns are locked up I haven't fired my 870 in years . I would grab my 40+ year old Rossi Coach gun before the 870 any way. I like a double barrel. Bought the 870 in 1980 bet haven't fired 50 rounds out of it.

Maverick 88 12g. with an 18 1/2" fixed cylinder barrel. 5 round sleeve on the stock for extra ammo. Loaded with #4 buck. $169 at Dick's black Friday sale a couple months ago. It's been shot enough at the range to know it's reliable and how it patterns at 10-15 feet.
