Back when gun shows were a place where you could go to get a deal I snagged this Mossy. Ten minutes before closing on a private party's table $199.00 never shot and custom paint job. Plus 5 boxes of Fedetal Law 00 buck.

Nice, my only complaint with a pistol grip on a Mossberg is the safety placement. For me at least it is impossible to manipulate the safety with taking my hand off the grip. That is why I went with the more traditional Compstock.

You are correct and I hate pistol grips on any shotgun, just too damn cheap to get a standard stock for it. Anyone want to swap a standard for my pistol grip I would trade it out.

Keep your eyes peeled on Ebay I got the Compstock for really cheap on an auction. If I remember it was around $50.

Better hurry before the government creates a Compstock shortage....they'd rather bust you for the pistol grips. :tinfoil3:

Another benefit of the Compstoick is the foreend is smaller which helps keep material from getting jammed under it tying up the action.

As the movie character Jesse Stone said "That'll do...". Very nice lil shooter, like the special serial number indeed.

RC I bought a Maverick 12ga and as a project dressed it up with bells and whistles including a pistol grip stock. I still have the black composite stock if you still want one let me know.

learn to live with the pistol grip if for no other reason than it really really infuriates the goons that you have it.

Very cool shotgun RC. :thumbs up: Wonder how many gun owners where the shotgun was the first firearm owned. I was just two months shy of 13 when I got a single shot .410. Haven't stopped buying guns since.

I would relocate the pistol on the other side. Other than that it looks legit. Maybe a sling?

I see a good Ky made rifle . These are the new KY Long Rifles . They don't take near as long to reload as the old ones did.
