    PMR-30 for sale at Bud's for $299

    http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/p...ducts_id=64077

Given the complaints about dealer gouging this looks like a good price. This is pre-order but it says that your guaranteed to get one from the next shipment.

Tempting! I want to see how they feed (in real life)first. The second thing is, it could get pricey, feeding 30 rounds of 22 mags. in thirty seconds. The cool factor is up there though.

Yeah, ammo $$$ is what's holding me back. As much as I like the idea of a 30rd mag, I could see myself going through 400+ rounds in a short range trip. I would love to see that capacity in .22lr.

Man, that 299$ price tag is lower than Kel Tec's MSRP.

...Just got mine here in WV for $347. I really just heard about the gun about a month ago. Went to two gun stores which neither one had one. Went to a third store to buy ammo for my Thunder .380, and lo and behold, they had one. Needless to say, I bought it. I confess it looks like an old Nintendo game-gun. The grips feel cheapy. But the thought of shooting 30 rounds of .22 mag without reloading, as well as limited recoil, sold me. Can't wait to get to the range and put both my Bersa & PMR 30 through there paces.

Let us know how it goes! There seem to be quite a few of us who are more than a little curious about this gun.

I have not seen a PMR-30 yet anywhere in the NW Chicago/IL area. A salesman at my LGS ordered one when they first came out and hasn't gotten it yet. But I just sold my mountain bike and I've got a few extra bucks...must resist...

My LGS finally got one in! I fondled it and I really like the trigger, it's light and breaks real clean. However, at $529, I told them I want one but not at that price. The salesdude said they'll come down in about a year. I went to Bud's and all it said was I can put one on my wish list and they'll notify me when one is available.

With MSRP of $415, $529 is a bit much. But, maybe he is just getting them from the wrong people & paying too much for it.

Cashin' in on the newness of the gun. I hate that. Just sell the dog-gone thing at a fair price and be done with it.

Yeah, I believe in supply and demand, but there's no excuse for price gouging just because something is new and popular. I was in Cabela's last week and forgot to ask if they had one. I'm sure they would have a more fair price.

...I own one, and believe me I don't think it's worth more than $290. I got it for $347, and I would say I paid $67 dollars too much. Now, i haven't shot it yet, I was heading to the range this morning, and got rained out. I might change my mind after I shoot the darn thing. But for it's looks and feel, I believe I paid too much.

It's so new, haven't run across many reports on how it does at the range. Seems I read one where loading the 30 rd. mag was a little difficult & had some feeding issues. I guess just about all .22LR rifles/pistols I've read about have only had 10 rd. magazines. I just figure there was a reason for that & it wasn't because a couple of states only allow 10 rd. mags. I can see where a double stacked mag might be a problem for rimmed cartridges.

Re: PMR-30 for sale at Bud's for $299

I've been following the PMR-30 threads a little bit over at Kel Tec Owner's Group and it seems they are having some teething problems with the pistol, especially the mags. I'm not so hot to get one until the price comes down and the bugs get worked out.
