    Sears M-200 12ga shotgun

I am new to this site and this is my first post.

I just got this gun last week from a deseased family member. He passed about 5 years ago, and I'm fairly certain nobody has touched this gun in years. Took it out today and shot 1 round through if. It was very accurate and hardly had a kick, but did not eject the spent shell. After a couple of try's it still would not eject properly. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What you have there is a Winchester 1200, branded for Sears. The good news is absolutely any parts you need are easily available.
A little more information is needed though. What kind of shell was it? Did you load the gun full or just the single? Is the pump jammed or free? Let us know and we can talk you through it. I have one to compare with if necessary too.

Is it chambered only for 2 3/4" shells or 3"? Just asking because a 3" can be slammed into a 2 3/4 chamber but won't extract. Seen it done many times.

I was wondering along the same lines, as far as I know that should have a 3" chamber but I wondered if there was a 3 1/2 rammed home in it, but then he said the recoil was soft.
My current suspicion is a sticky chamber from old oil and bad extractors. But time will tell.
