    Tanfoglio Titan II

    http://ingunowners.com/forums/handgu...-handguns.html

It is down the page. Offered a $100 and he said he will likely take it. It looks like a nice gun. Don't know anything about it but about any gun you can get for $100 that fires can't be too bad? Value is $150-200 from what I see. I will look it over in person prior to buying it. Anyone have any experience with them?

I have a Super Titan .380 but haven't shot it yet. They are well made but do lack a slide catch/release. Dual safety takes some getting used to. Good luck.

I bought one years ago for a 100. very accurate to many safetys on it one problem . Their not a lite weight pistol . Another member on the old board had one his frame cracked right in 1/2 at the frame safety. Iam not sure if drop proof. Might be if you use the slide safety ( I don't drop guns to test)
I don't use any of those silly safetys I have loaded and stashed hammer down. Iam the safety not something got to rotate 180 degrees.

My self I rather have the Iver Johnson 38S&W revolver . Better built If Lock up is good those are nice revolvers . I sold mine and have have been sorry ever since.

I had an old man pull one of those on me a few years ago,he said I got his parking space. I had my kids with me and never saw him till he was standing at my window waving the gun.

I own a Tanfoglio 380 GT double stack. It shoots ok and has been reliable.
Not the most accurate pistol with black on black sights. One thing to watch when loading the first shot is NOT to pull up on the slide as you pull back.
Nothing locks the slide down in the rear position so you can have the slide lift off the track by accident. I let a friend shoot mine and he did this.
This might have something to do with the guns take down procedure.

I also fixed the hated mag release safety. Good gun for $100. About the size of a Berretta 84.

I ended up not getting it. Decided to spend the $100 on my wife. Plus with our 5 year anniversary next month I should hold back on gun stuff and focus on her wants. Then in August back to my wants!

The slide can't be removed that way if the frame safety is in the firing/non-safe position.

True, if you have a manual to read. After that happened with my friend I downloaded the mentioned manual and read:

    UNLOADING THE PISTOL
    section 2

That's how I discovered how he did it. Pays to research and read.
