BersaSales may hesitate to give out a date. He caught h___ here on the board when he announced the BP9CC & it took longer than expected to get past the #$%&*% ATF. He learned a valuable lesson & I don't think he'll risk that again! Best just be patient & look for it when you see it.

Thanks mitchr! You know exactly why we are keeping a bit quiet on this one!!! Haha! Seriously guys, it should not be too much longer. As soon as I have confirmation that they are shipping to us from the factory, you will be the first to know.

(The Tacticalwire.com)-Wanamassa, NJ (January 2012) - Eagle Imports, Inc., importers of the popular Bersa line of firearms, reveal the new Bersa Thunder .380 Combat pistol. Featuring a sleek, modern design and enhancements, the new Bersa Thunder Combat still has all the built-in reliability and accuracy the Bersa name is known for.

A low-profile, redesigned slide allows for quicker sighting and target acquisition. The new, larger slide serrations and combat sights give the Thunder Combat that "all-business" rugged look. You know, when I looked at the pic on the Bersa website, it seemed that this model had its front sight in a dovetail. :) I hope that turns out to be the case.

The product description for the combat states
Front Sight: Blade Integral with Slide
The rear is dovetail but not the front unless something changes. Parts list is not available yet and the manual is for the regular Thunders.

Well, the picture looks like the front sight is dovetailed into the slide, too. Definitely different from the standard BT380 or the Plus.

Maybe the specifications on the Bersa site are basically a copy of the BT380 or CC? Maybe BersaSales can answer?

    EDIT:
Zooming in on it appears to be a dovetail front sight IMO too.

The Bersa site (Eagle Imports) is a lot better than it used to be, but it still has a few mistakes; for example they list both the Thunder 380 and the Firestorm 380 to feature the "combat style trigger guard." The Firestorm doesn't actually have the combat style trigger guard.

    Thunder Series
These models are highlighted by the following features:
    3-dot sight system
    Combat style trigger guard
    Extended Slide Release
    Micro-polished bore with sharp,deep rifling
    Extended finger rest magazine bottom
    Intergral Locking System
    Lifetime service contract
Available in Matte, Satin Nickel or Doutone finish”.

    http://www.bersa.com/bersa-firearms/thunder-series.html

    Firestorm features

    White Outline Target Sight System
    Combat style trigger guard
    Extended slide release
Anatomically designed rubber wrap around grips with finger grooves
    Extended finger rest magazine bottom
Micro-polished bore with sharp, deep rifling
    Integral locking system
    Lifetime service warranty”

    http://www.bersa.com/firestorm-firea...ic-series.html

Interestingly enough, the combat style trigger guard isn't listed as a feature of the Thunder Combat.

Thanks PT I will not take their info as factual from now on. A basic reference only. They also don't have the manual online for the BP yet that I could find.

The manual for the BP9 isn't listed on the Spanish version of the Bersa of Argentina web-site either. Once the Spanish version is available, the English version should be along shortly. As a fwiw, the Bersa of Argentina web-site lists the BP9 on the Spanish version of the web-site, but not the English. The Combat model doesn't appear on either the Spanish or English under the Products menu.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Bersa Chat Zone!

Is that a loaded chamber indicator on top such as on the CC? I like that feature, although I wouldn't rely on it.

The LCI on the CC is on the left side of the slide, not on top. The only things I see on top are the front and rear sight and the extractor pin recess.
