Thread: Thunder 380CC Lasers?

  1. #1

    Question Thunder 380CC Lasers?

Does anyone know if there are any manufacturers who build, or are planning to build, laser grips/guard to fit the Thunder 380CC? I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Welcome to Bersa Chat Jimmy. Haven't heard about them yet. I can't remember just how long the CC has been in production, but Crimson Trace may eventually give it a try. Of course, keep in mind that the CC is more of a point & shoot type pistol. If you learn that, you don't need a laser. I will admit that a laser is great for use at home when dry firing & practicing 'point & shoot' & for working on trigger control.

contact Crimson Trace, they would probably be open to the idea as they make them already for the BT380 and BT22

Just don't ask us about whether to use the slide release or not...

I think lasers are amazing training tools. I've learned so much about trigger control since I bought a few CT grips, and it has sharpened my accuracy which was already pretty good from years of practice. Dry-firing is where they are most valuable for that purpose.

For shooting in low-light conditions like you would in HD mode, they help when you're under stress and can't necessarily see your front sight very well

Anything would be an improvement over the "sights" on the CC. I put 100 rounds through mine today and you'd have had a hard time convincing me that they existed. They make the sights on my 1911 look good.

At least the newer CCs are coming with the painted "dimples" on the sights. My older one has more of a mere suggestion of sights.

At the range I mostly work on drawing and point shooting with it anyway.

CT says they have no plans for it until the number of CC's sold warrants it.

Yeah, and they aren't doing the Thunder Plus either.
