I know that but it's still the best deal around and the performance is equivalent to minimags.

Edit: Trouble is they went up $15 a case...................

    Dunn's is 164.99 w/ free shipping for 5000

    Palmetto State is 149.99 for 5250 + 19.00 shipping = 168.99 for 5250

Breaks down to .03 cents per round for both. Wish Dunn's would offer the deal they had before I became a member of the board.

Put 100 rds of blazer through my 22 this Am. I did both slow firing and then speed firing. No Problems, so I guess they are the go to ammo for the 22 plus they are only a few bucks more then federal value pack..
Curious about the accuracy of this ammo in comparison to cci minimags, anyone done a comparison?

Gander Mtn. is nothing but a low grade rip off crooked operation. Their prices on guns and ammo are very over priced. You are best to stay away from them

Wal-Mart's still the best deal in my book: $6.47/100 (32.35/500), no shipping. If the price hasn't gone up this last month.

Is that some of that new fuzzy math? 32.35/500 plus tax for minimags. 16.50/500 plus no tax or shipping for blazers if bought by 5000 round case. Same as minimags just don't have copper washed bullets. So where's the great deal @ Wal-mart? Just wondering ?

The math's not fuzzy at all. Blazers are not Mini-Mags.

My BT22 won't run Blazers well. Too many FTF's and FTE's.

Sales tax on $32.35 here is $2.10. Total of $34.35 for 500 Mini-Mags. Not Blazers. They're not the same round despite what some posters believe.

He's right. Unless CCI Mini Mags is making Mini Mags to be privately Labeled by Blazer, they are 2 different companies with competing ammo..Doesn't make them the same. Someone with more knowledge should do a test to see how close to each other they are in FPS and accuracy at 10 yds.

They are both made by CCI, they have identical cartridges, powder and primer. The only difference is the bullet. This was told to me by a CCI rep when I called via the Technical Question number on their website.

I'm looking at "Midways" catalog and they list the fps for all their ammo. They list 40gr. blazers at 1070 and mini mags at 1235 Both round nose. It doesn't make sense that their would not be some significant difference in the two.

I bought 5000 of those blazers (the price was right) from Dunn's, but they lead up the barrel. The Remington bulk pack from Walmart work perfect without the leading problem (5_5@ <$20.00). I had trouble with the Aquila Hyper 30 Gr. before doing some ramp work, but now I trust them, and those @1750 ft/sec., and the Aquila 40 Gr.@ 1470 ft/sec. are mine and the Thunder .22's favorite. PS I just bought a new 9mm UC on sale at Cabella's with a 10% off coupon (~$380) and I am in love with it so far (my 5th Bersa).

I think the mini-mags are 36 grain, but that is still a lot of fps difference.
