I know I'm new to the scene, but, I saw this similar kind of thread on another forum and thought it was a great idea. Please post your pics... I'll start us off... Maybe this could end up as a "sticky".

With gold getting so high I thought i would slap it on my 380 PLUS and add to it's value!

How it's done.... Clean with acetone then fill in with Elmers gold paint marker (Walmart) let dry a couple of hours then with a cloth patch or rag with goo-gone on it just pass it over to clean off excess not pressing to hard as to take the paint out of the letters, pretty easy.

Hello everyone.
This will be my first post here (although I've been skulking around for a while).

Here is a picture of my Bersa Thunder. It was/is a duotone model, but didn't care for the finish on the slide so I "redid" it. Long story short, I tried to polish the slide a little and ended up just taking the finish off completely. I ended up just using corrosionX oil to protect it while I decide what/how to refinish it (If I even decide to do so, I like the color now as long as it doesn't start to rust).

http://i735.photobucket.com/albums/ww356/kobeben000/IMG_2833.jpg

I bought the grips on ebay, and they originally looked like this:
http://i735.photobucket.com/albums/ww356/kobeben000/Bersagrips.jpg

I refinished them because they made the gun about as thick as a glock 26 and where very uncomfortable to hold.

Here's my wife's gun, I got her the wrap around grips and 2 extra mags for Christmas. I didn't want her to have to reload after only 21 rounds. This gives her 35+1.

I don't know if any of you noticed but, the hammer is cocked. While the magazine is full there is no bullet in the chamber. My wife stores her gun with the slide open. Thus, when I released the slide to load a mag. the hammer was cocked. After the picture was taken the magazine was removed immediately.

Here's my BT380 Plus with a nickel replacement slide from Eagle Imports.

http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac47/p-t-max/bt380_fs22/bt380nkl023.jpg

Incidentally, regarding the cocked hammer issue, you can put the lever on safe while the slide is locked back. That way, when you release the slide and it goes forward into battery, the hammer falls automatically (and safely). This will work with the current production of Bersa/Firestorm 22/32/380 pistols. :thumbs up:

My wife is out of town on an extended trip, taking care of her 96 year old mother. I have no idea if she will be pleased or not, actually, since she doesn't seem to get too worked up about guns. She's not anti-gun, by any means, but she's not exactly an enthusiast, either.

Also, I want to say thank you once again to Michael T and Eagle Imports, Condor's Flight, YGP, etc. for sponsoring the Karmas and providing these great prizes. :thumbs up:

Thunder 22 named Vanessa.

These are the first shiny pistols I have owned,,,
I was thinking about names when I saw a news blurb on Lynn and Vanessa Redgrave.

They are silver haired foxes just like my pistols,,,
And I thought it would be poetic justice as they are both rabidly anti-gun.

These Purpleheart Marschal grips are the best. (Except for color difference, but that is a story for the other thread.)

This CC feels so good in my hand now that I don't want to give the gun to my daughter (for whom it was intended). I'm going to have to buy another gun just so I can get some more of these grips...

New member here, and new to the Bersa world (sort of...). My wife bought her FS380 a couple of years back. I've probably shot more rounds through it then her, so when I decided to apply for a CCW, I figured "What the heck" and bought my Bersa new off of Gunbroker. I picked it up Tuesday, along with 150 rounds of PMC .380, and I've got a date at the local range on Saturday. It's not my first pistol, but I suspect it'll be my favorite soon (Based on the track record of my wifes). I had and sold a S&W 5906 9mm, own a Browning HP 9mm (Love that sweet thing), along with a Ruger Single Six 22 for plinking targets all day long, along with a few long arms (and of course my new BT380. The one on the left is mine, and the one on the right is hers. The magazine in the middle is her spare. I'm on the hunt for spares myself. Regards. Parsons

These are my twin Bersa Thunders; a .380 and 22lr. The BT380 is stock and my favorite pistol to shoot. However I also have a BT22 to shoot. It is cheaper. Because the BT22 is most often seen in public it is a two tine and I have beautiful red Wattlewood grips on it. The wood grips make the pistol too wide for CC but very comfortable to hold. I do CC the BT380 sometimes. In the second picture are my other CC favorites; a Browning 1911 22 compact (not much power but lots of bullets), my Kahr PM9 (lots of power but not many bullets) and my Ruger LCP with extended magazine (a good compromise between power and numbers of bullets). The PM9 is my 'winter CC'. It is the largest and heaviest, but it fits well in coat and jean pockets in a leather wallet holster. The LCP is my 'summer CC'. It is the smallest and lightest and fits nicely into my shorts pockets in my Maelwear fabric wallet holster.

I think that CC pistols are a little like jewelry. If you ask a woman (or a man) why s/he wears jewelry (that is not a sentimental peice) s/he usually says that wearing it makes him/her feel good. Showing it off is a secondary motive. The different CC pistols make me feel good. The exception is that they are always hidden, unlike jewelry.

My wife has her own CC collection: a Ruger LCP 38 spec, Berreta Nano, Kahr 380, and two Sigs 1911s (a 9mm and a .380) and a Kimber Solo. But the Kimber is going 'bye-bye'. Its a little too fussy on the type of ammo it needs. Trying to find her a Glock 42.

My version of a "Family Photo". Doesn't include the Duo Tone 380 that I bought as a gift for my brother or my 70 year old Colt 1911. The matte 380, my first, and the 9UC were bought new, the nickle over buffed alloy frame and the matte FS-22lr were purchased used.

Picked this bad boy up for $200 a few weeks ago in great condition with 3 factory mags and original box/paperwork. I finally got a chance to shoot it last week and it's such a sweet-shooting little gun for being pretty lightweight. I'd always wanted one and couldn't pass on this one for the price even if I wanted to.

Went to range today with my son. He wanted to post picture(both guns unloaded) to site. Both Bersa's shot great. My .380 flawless, his Thunder .22 flawless with Thunderbolts,Golden bullets, and CCI's. Now the Federals I knew would fail, lived up to their miserable reputation. Absolute worst ammo on market. Only fires out of my bolt action rifle and my sons single shot. I will not buy again except to use as trade fodder. Great outdoors.

Greetings one and all!

New Bersa owner here. I have been a 1911 fan for many years. But, I wanted something a little more concealable and lighter than my Rock Island compact.

7504

A friend of mine has expounded the virtues of the Bersa thunder so when I saw a duotone model here I had to grab it.

This is my first 380. I have had 22lr, 22 TCM 25 acp, 9mm, 45 acp and 44 mag in the past. I have had many pistols come and go but always migrated back to the 1911 platform.

Given it's Walther queues I have dubbed my Bersa my tuxedo gun. You know, for when I am infiltrating a foreign embassy during a party... :D

I was very impressed with the accuracy of the BT 380. The fixed barrel has a lot to do with that.

Well, without further delay, here is my tuxedo gun.

Just picked up this 380 CC yesterday. Cleaned it up and ran ~50 rounds through it. All is well except for a tight decocker lever. Hopefully this will loosen up over time.

Here is my best friend... The dual clip mag was intended for a 9mm but you slip in a self adhesive foam insert in the front of the pouches
(.99 at the craft store or Wal-mart) and the retention is perfect!

25 rounds of pop. Yes, the one mag is empty, just bought it and have not loaded it yet.
